Kangiri AA, Kenya

New for September: we have a washed Kenyan produced by the Kangiri Farmers Cooperative Society. The farms are located near the village of Kigumo in Muranga County. The elevation ranges from 1500-1650 MASL.

Each of these cherries are handpicked early in the morning and transported to the wet mill. Once de-pulped, the beans are fermented in tanks and then fed into washing channels. It is in these channels that workers can sort out the denser, higher quality beans.
