This elegant red bourbon comes from the Muhororo Washing Station near Lake Kivu. Over 200 households deliver their coffee cherries to the washing station. It is here that the cherries are freshly pulped and fermented before being fully washed and dried on raised beds for 12-15 days. Additionally, this washing station supports the Rugori Woman’s Crown program - a critical social and community welfare program for the workers at Muhororo.
The quality of this coffee speaks for itself; we offered it last year and are excited to get the latest crop.
